Working with Relationships

Relationships can be added using a diagram, the in line editor, or in the tree directly. We will show how to create relationships in the tree directly

• Hover over the source object for the relationship you would like to create, notice a chain icon and click on it

• Hover over the object you would like to connect the source object to, click the chain again for that object
• A screen will pop-up showing the source and target objects along with a relationship type box

• Select the type of relationship you would like to create, relationship types are displayed in accordance with the metamodel(s) assigned to the model. The selection will be the default for any subsequent relationships added in this way
• Click create to create the relationship
• You can view the relationship by clicking on the object and selecting the relationship tab
